When my parents died, it became clear to me that there was an end in sight. Death was never a real thing to me. And then when that happened I realized I only have so many years left, if I'm lucky. ↗
I think it's really important to use your hands and get close to materials. To be up close to real things like rain and mud; to have contact with nature. ↗
The next couple of jobs will determine, at least from a business point of view, if I'm a guy who's actually the real thing or I'm a guy who's had a nice moment. ↗
I don't know who's left to hear us. But if there are people who want the real thing, we've got it. My band rocks, and I plan to keep doing it 'till nobody shows up to see it anymore. ↗
