I know so few people who actually give music their undivided attention, so I've been trying to just park myself on the couch between the speakers and listen. ↗
I really think that's what music and art is about. It's another way to connect to the divine. It's a real pure way of touching that deeper reality beneath our life. ↗
If I do a poetry reading I want people to walk out and say they feel better for having been there - not because you've done a comedy performance but because you're talking about your father dying or having young children, things that touch your soul. ↗
