I would not reconsider the nuclear cuts. The appropriations committee did due process in looking at where there was the ability to cut some spending and that's what we did and now it's time to look forward to fiscal year '12.

The district includes the cities of Henderson Boulder City parts of Las Vegas and North Las Vegas unincorporated Clark County and several smaller towns and cities in the Southern Nevada region. He is an osteopathic physician and former Nevada State Senator.
