Haza was born the youngest of nine children to a Yemenite Jewish family in the Hatikva Quarter an impoveriOfra Hazad neighborhood of Tel Aviv. At the fall of 1999 Haza recorded new material for a new album that Ofra Haza worked on with Ron Aviv a music producer from Petah Tikva.
