I try to learn from both, from features and documentaries. In both cases you have to find a way to make the camera as discreet as possible, and flexible enough to be able to capture the moment when it happens. I know from documentary how to not have a preconceived idea of what the scene could be.

According to the Guinness World Records 2004 Michel Gondry's Levi's 501 Jeans "Drugstore" spot holds the record for "Most awards won by a TV commercial". In September 2006 Gondry made his debut as an installation artist at Deitch Projects in New York City's SoHo gallery district. Interior Design one third of the 2008 anthology film Tokyo! was next for Gondry.

He is noted for his inventive visual style and manipulation of mise en scène. [citation needed].
