I had that upbringing. Of watching 'Bonanza,' watching 'Hee Haw,' which both black and white would watch. I rode horses. I did gun spinning as a kid. I do these things.

He is the son of Louise Annette Talley Dixon and Darrell Bishop; his father sometimes worked as a stockbroker and changed his name to Shahid Abdula after converting to Islam.
