I'm a very lazy person by nature. I have to be really engaged, and then I go straight from lazy to obsessive. I couldn't study chemistry, but I could memorize all the books for Dungeons and Dragons. It was ridiculous. The trick is to find what I like to do.

Personal life
Favreau married Joya Tillem on November 24 2000. On April 28 2006 it was announced that Favreau was signed to direct the long awaited Iron Man movie. The couple have three children: a son Max born July 25 2001 and two daughters Madeleine born April 2003 and Brighton Rose born August 2006.
