I think every athlete will tell you no matter what sport you're in, when you train so hard and when you care so much about doing what you do, there's a little bit of nerves that come with that. But nerves that won't prevent you form performing, nerves that, hopefully, allow you to be that much more motivated and inspired to do well.

2009–10

In the 2009–10 NHL season Crosby tied Tampa Bay Lightning centre Steven Stamkos for the lead in goals scored with 51 goals earning the Rocket Richard Trophy. Pearson Award as the NHL Players Association's choice for most outstanding player becoming the seventh player in NHL history to earn all three awards in one year. Crosby scored four goals and six points over five tournament games.

That same season Crosby also won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the Professional Hockey Writers Association's choice for most valuable player and the Lester B. The injury left him sidelined for ten and a half months.
