I want to be as honest as I can about the things I've been through - the sorrows and joys, victories and defeats - and to use those experiences as a well to draw from. Hopefully, the songs that result from that kind of writing will be songs that mean something to others.

Cole played quarterback for the Alma Scots located in Alma Michigan. Cole's coaching record at Alma is 112 wins and 82 losses. Coaching career


Assistant coaching
Cole was a graduate assistant at Central Michigan University during the Chippewas' national championship season in 1974.

He is currently the head coach at Alma College a position he has held since 1991.
