It is a high patriotic duty that we support and sustain the men who have been placed in position of difficulty, burden, responsibility, and even danger as the result of our suffrages.

They were married in 1929 and had three children (Katherine Sedgwick Colby Nathalie Sedgwick Colby and Frances Bainbridge Colby). Mr. Colby's paperwork and photographs to the local library and they eventually found home at the Library of Congress.
