Chilton was taken to the hospital in New Orleans on March 17 2010 complaining of health problems and died the same day of a heart attack. " Rosebrough would occasionally work with Chilton on later recordings including Big Star's Third album and Chilton's 1975 solo record Bach's Bottom.
