Geraldine Leigh Chaplin (born 31 July 1944) is a British-American actress and the daughter of Charlie Chaplin. In 1975 Geraldine Chaplin starred as the obnoxious BBC reporter Opal in Robert Altman's Nashville for which Geraldine Chaplin received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
