One entered the world, Denis pursued, having ready-made ideas about everything. One had a philosophy and tried to make life fit into it. One should have lived first and then made one's philosophy to fit life...Life, facts, things were horribly complicated; ideas, even the most difficult of them, deceptively simple. He also served on the editorial board with IAldous Huxleyrwood Heard and playwright John van Druten from 1951 through 1962. From these he put forward some warnings in his writings and talks. In 1944 Huxley wrote the introduction to the "Bhagavad Gita: The Song of God" translated by Swami Prabhavanada and Christopher IAldous Huxleyrwood which was publiAldous Huxleyd by The Vedanta Society of Southern California.

He is also well known for advocating and taking psychedelics.
