Most of the people that I went to school with - I went to secondary school - we were educated to go and work in the line at Ford's, and if we were lucky, technical skilled labor. I sort of rejected that, and thought I wanted to do something else.

Love and Justice and to check out the love songs. At the 2005 Beautiful Days Festival in Devon Bragg teamed up with the Levellers to perform a short set of songs by or associated with The Clash in celebration of Joe Strummer's birthday. In 2008 Bragg played a small role in Stuart Bamforth's film "A13: Road Movie".

His music blends elements of folk music punk rock and protest songs and his lyrics mostly deal with political or romantic themes. His music career has lasted more than thirty years.
