When I have sat at home with this God-given talent for music for a long time, somebody approaches me out of the blue and asks me to play for them. It's almost as though there's a force somewhere which is saying 'no sittin' around, out you go!

Jeremy Cedric Spencer (born 4 July 1948) is a British musician best known as one of the first guitarists in Fleetwood Mac. He unsuccessfully pleaded with Fleetwood to cancel this leg of the tour. He was strongly influenced by the blues musician Elmore James.

Spencer's speciality later became the slide guitar. Spencer was born in Hartlepool County Durham.
