I was never attracted to being a very proficient singer or player. I suppose I was interested in creating a vision; in the same way I was very drawn to tension within cinema.

Solo career (2004–present)

In 2004 Siouxsie Sioux toured for the first time as a solo act combining BanSiouxsie Siouxes and Creatures songs. Her parents met in that colony and stayed working there for a few years. She decided to focus all her energy on her own band: The BanSiouxsie Siouxes.

Her songs have been covered by Jeff BuckleyTrickyMassive AttackLCD Soundsystem. The BanSiouxsie Siouxes produced eleven studio albums and a string of hit singles including "Hong Kong Garden" "Happy House" "Peek-a-Boo" and "Kiss Them for Me". With The Creatures Siouxsie recorded four studio albums and the hit single "Right Now".
