The proof is in the pudding when they come home. Will we have the data about their health, will we know where they were stationed, what their unit deployments were? I will need that information.

Career

Principi has worked on national policy issues and has held several executive-level positions in federal government throughout his career. From 1984 to 1988 he served as Republican chief counsel and staff director of the Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs. He is currently a lobbyist for Pfizer and chairman of QTC Management a company that works on contracts for the Veterans Affairs Department.

He was appointed by President George W. Bush on January 23 2001 and resigned on January 26 2005.
