Massenet was born in Los Angeles in May 1965 the daughter of Bob Rooney (an American journalist) and Barbara Jones (a model for Chanel). In 1997 Natalie Massenet met her husband Arnaud Massenet (an investment banker) at the Notting Hill Carnival.
