My number one inspiration was my mother. She worked two jobs and had breakfast and dinner prepared. I essentially called my mother, The Lion. She's fierce and she's proud. I'd like to think some of that rubbed off on me.

Judge has written four episodes of Stargate SG-1: season five's "The Warrior" season six's "The Changeling" season seven's "Birthright" and season eight's "Sacrifices". "The television set was my babysitter growing up. Judge has four children Cameron Justin Catrina Christine Christopher Jordan and Chloe (born 2005).

Douglas Christopher Judge (born October 13 1964) is an American actor best known for playing Teal'c in the Canadian-American military science fiction television series Stargate SG-1. He attended the University of Oregon on a football scholarship and was a Pacific-10 Conference player.
