Wojciech Witold Jaruzelski (pronounced [ˈvɔi̯t͡ɕɛx jaruˈzɛlskʲi] ([Image] listen); born 6 July 1923) is a retired Polish military officer and Communist politician. He was also the last commander-in-chief of the Polish People's Army (LWP).
