By the mid-1980s his career in music was declining. Davis graduated at 16 from Lubbock High School in Lubbock Texas. Marriages:
Fran Cook: 1963- (divorced); one son Joel Scott
Sarah Barg: 1971–1976 (divorced no children)
Lise Kristen Gerard: 1982–present (two children Noah Claire and Cody Luke)
