Did you know about Lillie Langtry?

Eventually a cordial relationship developed between her and Princess Alexandra. In 1899 Lillie Langtry married the much younger Hugo Gerald de Bathe. In 1902 Jeanne Marie married the Scottish politician Sir Ian Malcolm.

She would become the subject of much public and media interest. She was also known for her relationships with nobility including the Prince of Wales the Earl of Shrewsbury and Prince Louis of Battenberg. born Emilie Charlotte Le Breton achieved overnight celebrity status when in May 1877 Lady Sebright invited her to an "an evening at home" attended by some of the famous artists of the day.
