Harold Robbins

He was raised by his father who was a pharmacist and his stepmother in Brooklyn. He spent a great deal of time on the French Riviera and at Monte Carlo until his death on 14 October 1997 from respiratory heart failure at the age of 81 in Palm Springs California.
