People are always telling me I look like movie stars that I don’t look like. So I’m used to it.
One day I’m in a big city. Someone is staring at me. Asks if they know me. I recognize the voice and face from somewhere. So I stop. It’s an awkward moment.
I start thinking this guy looks and talks exactly like a movie star. But he looks older. I think can’t be. Meanwhile he’s trying to figure out where he knows me from.
I assume he’s just one of an endless stream of people who are convinced I must be a movie star with my looks and voice.
I humor him. Then blow him off politely. I have to go. He stares at me as I leave. Still trying to place me.
A relative took a picture of us. They show it a few years later to some one. Turns out that was the movie star. They used to live around there. This person later brings pictures of them with the star.
So a movie star tried to talk to me, thinking I was a movie star. I blew them off, thinking they looked like a movie star, only too old.
Those cameras and makeup make them look a lot younger than they do in real life. My family still laughs at me every time we see him in a movie. I say hey, he looked a lot older than that in real life. Plus I was dressed nicer. Do they try to look like crap in real life do so you will think that slob can’t be a star.
